Democracy is the stupid idea in ruling a state…..

by invading and destroying the weaker countries huh?

What is a democracy? In general knowledge democracy can be defined as the governmental power which gains support from the masses. Most of people on the globe support this theory and say democracy can bring freedom and wisdom towards the people. When I read and talked to some of pro-democracy supporters….i realized something that missing among them. The true and only the true….a fact of democracy. Can we achieve freedom and wisdom by only considering the masses....although we say that the minorities consideration will not be discriminated but it’s only on the theory and really hard to practice. That’s why Aristotle said democracy is mobocracy. For me democracy is just one of mechanism that allows the elites of political actors to rule the country according to their wills or only the selected masses. Democracy becomes the greatest mask to hide their ‘dirty political games’ like what happen in the so called ‘a country who supports freedom and free of speech towards their citizens’-United States of America. The land where the father of democracy was born-Abraham Lincoln and promotes his ideology of democracy-the government of the people, by the people and for the people. If the Abraham Lincoln really succeed in creating the best form of government in USA…so why the freedom leaders like Malcom X. Martin Luther King created their own history regarding the USA-DEMOCRATIC GOVERNMENT. Why? I really hope that the democracy supporters can answer me with brilliant answer.

To me..democracy is just a platform to allow those in power to rule the state in tyranny practices but what makes the different between the democracy government and those who practice oligarchy, monarchy or aristocracy or ‘kuku besi’. They just using the word-DEMOCRACY.

humans are complex.....

Human are complex. I mean people are complex in various ways. They are unpredictable and to certain extend hardly to be understood. That’s my opinion as a human….let’ss take one example….

The day before eid..or orang nogori call it as ‘hari mantai’ which means ‘preparations for eid’. Normally the daughters at home will busy wthh the house cores at the kitchen like goring ape yang patut…potong bawang besar, bawang besar, bawang putih…all kinds of ingredients needed in preparing traditional malay dishes. Then, suddenly the mother who at first let the daughter do the cooking according to the daughter’s style will interrupt and say..”nie macam nie hah sepatutnya…ehhh kecahnye..potong nie dulu..and bla..bla…” too many comments although at first she was the one who initiate that the daughter will do the cooking. Then, during the cooking time..everything seems wrong to the respective mother’s sight and she started to make a sarcastic comments…then the daughter who at first really eager to do the cooking will be demotivated and at certain level will start to argue with the mother. The question is…kurang ajarkah si anak itu? I mean Malays are well known with manners but have we ever think that sometimes the malay traditions simply punish the act as kurang ajar…like when the student argue about the facts and the teching style with his or her lecturers…and the Malays mannerism will simply said that the student is kurang ajar. I think we should make a justified measurement on what is kurang ajar and the perspective from the Islam teachings.

So, definitely humans are complex…tolong salah ..x tolong lagi salah…cakap salah..x cakap lagi salah…dats the dilemma.

Harapan…..

Bagi sesetengah orang, harapan tidak begitu penting kerana mereka mungkin telah memiliki segala yang diimpikan. Tapi, bagi sesetengah yang lain harapan merupakan satu anugerah yang tidak ternilai yang dikurniakan Allah Taala kepada manusia. Aku adalah salah seorang daripada manusia tersebut. Harapan membantuku untuk terus bangun dari kegagalan dan terus berusaha untuk menempuhi segala rintangan yang dihadapi. Tanpa harapan. aku mungkin akan terus menjadi manusia yang kecewa dan akhirnya terus gagal buat selama-lamanya. Aku pernah menjadi seorang yang kecewa kerana kegagalan yang aku cipta sendiri. Akulah yang mencipta kegagalanku sendiri. Akhirnya…seperti apa yang aku biasa sebut “seseorang itu perlu bertanggungjawab di atas apa yang telah dilakukannya’. Akulah si manusia itu yang kini memikul tanggungjawab di atas kesilapan yang telah aku lakukan sendiri.

Harapan…

Seperti satu keajaiban yang telah diberikan kepadaku….ya peluang untuk menyambung pelajaran bagi peringkat diploma di UiTM Lendu. Peluang yang telah member seribu satu sinar baru dalam hidupku. Allah telah member peluang yang kedua kepadaku. Setelah aku mengecewakan keluargaku dan diriku sendiri. Sebaik kakiku melangkah ke perkarangan UiTM Lendu ianya ibarat satu titik permulaan bagiku ibarat digit sifar dalam pembaris…begitulah juga diriku. Lantas aku memilih jalan untuk bermula dari bawah walaupun pada mulanya amat perit. Perasaan yang tidak dapat kugambarkan dengan kata-kata pabila melihat rakan sebayaku yang lain menjalani konvokesyen. Memandu kereta import dan yang paling pedih apabila mereka ditauliahkan sebagai seorang doktor perubatan. Pada peringkat permulaan, aku terasa ingin mengasingkan diriku daripada mereka. Tipulah jikalau aku katakan bahawa aku tidak segan atau malu akan diriku sendiri…aku juga seorang manusia yang mempunyai perasaan. Aku mengasingkan diriku daripada mereka buat seketika……tapi ianya berubah apabila ada segelintir daripada mereka menasihati diriku dan menyatakan apa yang terjadi mungkin ada hikmahnya. Mungkin aku lebih sesuai dengan bidang yang belajar sekarang ini…sains social..politik. Lama kelamaan…baru aku mengerti kata-kata mereka…memang betul, Allah telah menemukan satu bidang yang amat cocok buat diriku. Aku lantas jatuh cinta dengan bidang ini. Sains pentadbiran dan pengajian polisilah adalah harapan yang memberiku peluang untuk bangkit dan berusaha. Dan kini aku hidup dengan satu harapan dan itulah yang membuatku sentiasa bersemangat dan maju kehadapan….untuk menggengam sekeping ijazah sarjana muda sains pentadbiran dan pengajian polisi.

Thank you such a very meaningful words. It shows how we really appreciate what we have or get. During Ramadan and now it's eid....there are a lot programs that shows about the single mothers, orphanages, the veterans who have no families....lone ranger celebrating the eid.

On the other hand,me as the 4th daugher from 5 have both parents, siblings, my little pumpkins(my kiddos) and best buddies. Those people are the sun, moon, jewels or other precious things that make my life more meaningful. Basically this article is written as a special dedication to all individuals that i love so much. Nothing can replace you gys..not even a Lincoln MKZ or Aston Martin......I LOVE YOU GUYS .....

hidden love...

salam readers... love? a famous word to describe the 'greatest feeling' that ever occurred to human beings. love can be the best medicine and it also can the deadliest venom. Take the love epic, Romeo and Juliet, Cleopatra or Laila Majnun. To certain extend love can make people losing their wise mind in making decision or even willingly to die because of love. How about hidden love? a love that we cannot express to someone that we love. It's hurt right? we see our loved ones everyday but that is the only thing we could do. Love him or her secretly due to various reasons. That 'hidden' feeling is really a great burden since we just keep it till it becomes the 'sick part' of our heart. sometimes, if that person is a muslim, he or she may pray for Allah to release this burden. we 'redha' with our faith...if the person is our soul mate, sooner or later she or he will be the 'halal one' for us. But, waiting is suffering...we are waiting to something which is so vague and without the end of it. That's what love is all about. For me, we cannot find the precise reason to describe why we fall in love with someone. ...it just happen naturally. True love is when we love someone without expecting any return from him or her. We just pray the best for our loved ones. That's my understanding about love....eid-mubarak everybody
